Great to see some old clips of Vai videos too, I recall being transfixed watching the ‘I Would Love To’ video on Raw Power!

Wow, it almost sounds like Steve doesn't know that George Van Eps was playing a 7-string while Steve was still in diapers…
Ah, all those iconic magazine cover shots… remember them well! And what a thoroughly nice chap to boot.
I wonder if the apparent ignorance of earlier 7-strings is a bit of Ibanez policy… as a Berklee grad, I'm pretty certain Vai knows all those 50s jazz guys
