Studio Jams!

February 13, 2009

Amazing find by Jon over on Guitarnoize. studiojams.com is the website for a TV series featuring studio jams ( well duh ) between world class blues and jazz musicians with sneak peak behind the scenes footage of the muscians talking about the following jam, musical ideas, rehearsal etc.

The great thing is the musicians that have taken part looking at the episode list we’ve got people like, Tuck Andress, Victor Wooten, Derek Trucks, Joey DeFrancesco, Pat Martino, Stanley Jordan, Larry Carlton, Vernon Reid, Joe Bonamassa, Peppino D’Agostino, Oz Noy and Jeff Berlin etc. !!

Like Jon can’t get the show here in the UK but…the show does have a youtube channel! Hoorah!

As a taster here is Joe Bonmassa and the great Pat Martino jamming together over ‘Use Me’:

That’s my youtube viewing for the day sorted :)

Hi-res pics now available of Guthrie Govan’s signature Suhr Modern.

Colour not to my tastes but the blower switch ( switch to bridge pickup at full volume instantly from any pickup configuration ) is a great idea.
