The Plek

I heard about the Plek machine years ago and even spotted some places n the UK who offered a ‘Plek Setup’. A computer controlled machine that could level your frets, cut the nut etc. with high precision, thereby making the guitar far more playable as if finished by a master luthier.
I had never seen one ‘at work’ though and decided to search on youtube and lo and behold I found a video of Wechter guitars using their Plek:

I had my Takamine set up with a Plek machine at Sydney Guitar Setups that machine is awesome! It can make tiny adjustments to your frets in case your neck is slighty twisted so that you don’t to have the expensive option of your neck removed and re-set. Very clever.
