This Saturday at 21:00 sees the start of a new seven-part documentary series on BBC2 called the ‘Seven Ages of Rock‘.
The series will be detailing the history of rock from its blues roots right to modern day rock and will feature artists like Hendrix, Cream, The Beatles, Bowie, Sex Pistols, Sabbath, Judas Priest, Metallica, Queen, Nirvana, Stone Roses, Franz Ferdinand etc.
The Programmes rock genres list as follows:
1) Blues Based Rock
2) Art Rock
3) Punk
4) Heavy Metal (rarr \m/)
5) Stadium Rock
6) Alternative Rock
7) Indie
Let’s hope it’s actually more Rock than Pop .
