Looks like Mr Vai has made an appearance on the scarily talented Devin Townsend‘s new album ‘Synchestra’ 
. Being a huge fan of ‘Sex & Religion’, which saw Vai and Townsend working together, I’m happy to see them collaborating once again.
One for the ‘Must Buy’ list.
Talking of which, from various sources, definite things on the ‘Must Buy’ list this year are:
Guthrie Govan’s solo album to be released on Cornford Records. – Taking its sweet time, but I’m sure it’ll be well worth it.
New Joe Satriani album – To be released this March sometime.
New Andy Timmons album ‘Resolution’ – I love this man’s tone and phrasing, hopefully a spring release on Favoured Nations and maybe a UK tour? Fingers crossed.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
My outlook for 2005 was to, as usual, record more and work towards the ‘big plan’.
Well I did manage to record more, not as much as I would have liked, but I can feel an improvement in my recording and production skills.
But wait… *fanfare*.
Yes, I have finally got everything in place to open…
