Been quiet of late 
, a quick update:
The 5th UKMG-NPU was a resounding success and I had a truly fantastic time. A big thanks to all who I was lucky enough to share a stage with and everyone else for putting on a tremendous (8 hour long!) show. I’m constantly amazed and impressed but the warmth and talent present amongst my UKMG mates, roll on next year!
‘The Plan’ has now gathered pace and is hopefully going live in January, have been working the website which I hope to launch very soon .
As I had done with ‘For The Love Of God‘, performed at the UKNG-NPU in 2003, I decided to record ‘The Animal‘ quickly before I forgot it. Gotta love that main riff!

Another post UKNG-NPU ‘record before I forget it’ recording .
I managed to obtain a backing track for this Vai piece but unfortunately it was missing a few bars from the end of the solo, so I had to plug the gap with audio from the original to enable me to play the entire solo, see if you can spot where .
All guitar parts were recorded by yours truly using my Ibanez Jem 77 GMC. Rhythm parts were recorded using the Digitech Whammy pedal set to provide an additional tone a 5th below. All sounds being captured from a miked up Carvin Legacy.
