Maggie’s Centre
August 27, 2004
My Girlfriend, Kate, is taking part in a Charity Trek for the Maggie’s Centre. Centres which provide invaluable support for people who have or have had Cancer as well as their friends and families.
I’ll post up her own words on the matter:
Hi Folks,
Just thought I’d email and let you all know that I’m going to be taking part in a Maggie’s Centre Trek in October 2005 in order to raise money for the charity.
My task (should I choose to accept it), is to raise 3000 pounds by June 2005 – a rather huge feat, I’m sure you’ll all realise
You can see the challenge in more detail on www.justgiving.com/maggiesfund where I’ll keep you all updated.
Any support would be very welcome!
Thanks guys, and I’ll see ya soon.
Kate
So any help at all would be greatly appreciated ![]()

Oooh my Liver & Happy Birthday markmcguigan.com!
August 18, 2004
And so I return…
Having just spent 5 days in Amsterdam for a mate’s Stag do (cheers Dave! ) I’m still a bit tender and my liver has decided enough is enough
. So a few thoughts of late:
1) Amstel is the Beer of Beers.
2) The Bermuda Bar is the Bar of Bars.
3) I had no idea you could do such things with a Banana.
4) Doom III is possibly the scariest game I have ever played. It disturbs me.
5) markmcguigan.com was 1 year old on the 13th August!
…and I still haven’t put up any vids
.
6) There is far too much spam mail in the World today.
7) Microsoft, wtf are you up to?
